Shade Sail – Shade Over the Whole Terrace That Also Survives a Shower

A rectangular shade sail for a terrace, a balcony or a seating area in the yard. The fabric is waterproof to a 2,000 mm water column, so a passing shower does not end the afternoon. Ten sizes run from 2 x 2 up to 4 x 6 meters.

Why choose a rectangular shade sail?

A parasol shades one spot and keeps moving as the sun does. A sail tensioned at four points covers the whole seating area and stays where you put it all afternoon. Being waterproof, it also means the table does not have to come in at the first drops.

Set the sail at a slope of around fifteen degrees so rainwater runs off one side rather than pooling. Use a spring or a rope with some give at each corner to absorb gusts. Take it off its fixings before a storm or a frost.
