A slim aluminum rail that hangs over the top of an interior door. The front carries six or seven hooks for coats, towels, bags and belts. No drill is involved and it comes back off just as easily.

Why choose an over-door hook rack?

In most homes the back of a door is the last square meter still standing empty. A hook rail puts that to work without making the door look thicker or stopping it from opening. Useful in a rental, where drilling is not always allowed.

Measure the thickness of your door leaf before hanging it, since the bracket is cut for a standard interior door. Put the heaviest coat on an outer hook so the rail stays sitting level. Moving it later is a matter of lifting it off.
