Model engine kit – build a metal V8 that actually runs once it is assembled

Model engine kit for a few evenings at the workbench and a V8 you can hear run

A kit for a V8 engine block with overhead valves. Once it is built, the engine starts on gasoline through a CDI ignition, so you see pistons, valves and spark work together.

Why choose this engine kit?

Most model engines just sit on a shelf. This one you build to understand how an engine works, and afterwards it actually runs.

• Step-by-step manual: illustrated with photos, also helpful if this is your first kit.
• Learn while building: you fit the valves, pistons and ignition yourself and see how they connect.
• Parts that fit: the machined pieces go together without filing.
• A real start: the CDI ignition works on the same principle as a full-size engine.
• Packed with care: all parts arrive loose and undamaged.

A few evenings of tinkering, and then an engine block that does something.

You need a flat workspace, basic tools and some patience. Turn the engine over by hand first, check every screw and lightly oil the moving parts before the first start. Depending on your setup, the block can later go into an RC project.
