Compact Travertine Flush Mount – Single E27 Stone Shade on a Wood Base

Travertine flush mount – a small stone light for a bedroom or reading corner

This compact ceiling light sets a travertine shade on a wooden body and runs on one standard E27 bulb. It sits close to the ceiling, so it suits a bedroom, a study or a guest room where a hanging fixture would feel too much.

Why choose this flush mount?

It comes in two sizes and three wood finishes, which lets you match it to the room rather than the other way around. The warm 3000K LED light keeps the stone looking soft instead of chalky.

• Two shade sizes: a 5.9-inch shade that stands 7.5 inches tall, or a slimmer 4.7-inch version at 6.7 inches.
• Three body finishes: natural wood, walnut or black on the larger size, natural wood or walnut on the smaller one.
• One common socket: a single E27 base, so replacing the bulb is an ordinary job.
• Wide voltage range: rated for 90V to 260V.

A piece of real stone overhead does more for a plain ceiling than its size suggests.

Travertine has natural pores and shifts in tone, so no two shades look exactly the same. The wood body breaks up the stone and ties in with floors, frames or furniture in the same tone. Two of them side by side work well in a longer bedroom or above a desk.
