Travertine Bedside Pendant – One or Two Stone Heads for a Quiet Reading Nook

Bedside pendant – a small block of stone that frees up your nightstand

Hang this travertine pendant next to the bed or over a reading chair and the nightstand stays clear for a book and a glass of water. You pick one head for a single spot, or two for both sides of a double bed or a wider corner.

Why choose this bedside pendant?

The shade is cut from natural travertine, so the pores and grain differ from one lamp to the next. The look leans on the Japanese wabi-sabi idea that small irregularities are part of the charm.

• Stone with its own grain: every shade shows a slightly different pattern, so no two lamps match exactly.
• Drop you can set: the cord adjusts, so the head can hang at eye level beside the bed or higher over a chair.
• One or two heads: choose a single light for one reading spot or a pair to cover a wider area.
• Standard E27 socket: takes an ordinary LED bulb that you can swap yourself.

It is a quiet piece of rock on a cord, and that is exactly the point.

Bedrooms, reading corners and small dining tables all suit it. Because the light hangs low, it lights the page or the plate rather than the whole room. Pair it with a lamp elsewhere if you also want general light.
