Bobbin Table Lamp – Rechargeable With a High-Gloss Ten-Coat Lacquer Finish

Lacquered bobbin lamp – a deep gloss you can see from across the room

The surface is the point of this lamp. Ten coats of lacquer give the turned bobbin body a mirror-like shine that catches light even when the lamp itself is off. Inside sits a rechargeable LED, so it works without a cord.

Why choose this lacquered lamp?

Many cordless lamps are matte plastic or plain metal. This one is built up layer by layer, which gives the color depth and makes the surface smooth to the touch.

• Ten layers of lacquer: a thick, glossy coat that protects the body and gives it a polished look.
• Spool silhouette: the stacked bobbin shape adds rhythm to a shelf or a desk.
• Tap to adjust: the button on top cycles through three brightness levels and off.
• Cable-free placement: once charged, it goes where an outlet does not reach.

Even switched off, it holds its own as a piece of decor.

The lamp measures 30 cm high, 11 cm across the base and 16 cm across the top. A full charge takes about eight hours through the USB-C port in the base. Wipe the lacquer with a soft, dry cloth to keep the shine.
