Outdoor advent calendar – 24 days of camping and survival gear for December

Outdoor advent calendar – a small piece of trail gear for every December morning

This calendar counts down to the holidays with gear instead of chocolate. Behind each of the 24 doors sits a small tool or accessory for camping, hiking or bushcraft. By Christmas Eve, your pack has filled up a little.

Why choose this outdoor advent calendar?

Chocolate is gone by lunch. A carabiner or a fire starter tends to stick around for a few seasons of weekends.

• Daily door: one new item every day from December 1 through 24
• Outdoor theme: everything inside is picked around camping, hiking and bushcraft
• Useful contents: things you clip to a pack, not novelties for a drawer
• Two box designs: a snowy mountain or Santa Claus on the outside

A December routine that ends with a better-stocked pack.

Set the calendar on a shelf or windowsill and open one compartment a day. Whatever comes out can go straight into a backpack, glove box or camping crate. It works as a shared countdown at home, too, with someone different opening each door.
