Nativity advent calendar – a new figure each day until the stable is complete

Nativity advent calendar – a daily moment for the whole family

Each December day you open a compartment with a new figure or piece from the Christmas story. Shepherds, wise men, animals and angels arrive one by one. On Christmas Eve the nativity scene is complete.

Why choose a nativity calendar?

It turns the countdown into a family routine. Children watch the story come together day by day, and adults get a nativity scene for the season.

• Morning ritual: one compartment a day, opened together.
• Story time: each new figure is a reason to talk about the story.
• Growing scene: the stable fills a little more every day.
• Seasonal decor: the scene stays out through the holidays.
• Year after year: pack it away and bring it back next December.

A tradition you take out of the box every year, and that becomes a bit more yours each time.

Give the stable a fixed spot on the windowsill, a cabinet or the dining table. Let a different child place the figure each day. After the holidays, pack everything away, ready for next year.
