Folding Table Leg Brackets 2-Pack – Self-Locking Heavy-Duty Steel
Folding Table Leg Brackets – The hinge that makes a table fold flat
A pair of 2.5 mm steel brackets that mount between a top and its legs, lock automatically when the legs swing down, and release with a lever when you want the whole thing flat again. Rated to around 225 kg for the pair, which is workbench territory rather than side-table territory.

Why choose self-locking brackets?
The failure mode of a cheap folding table is the leg quietly collapsing while something heavy is on it. A bracket that locks positively when it opens takes that away entirely — the leg cannot fold until you press the release. That is the whole difference between a table you trust and one you do not.
- Self-locking – the leg locks in the open position automatically, no separate catch.
- 2.5 mm steel – heavy gauge, not pressed tin.
- Around 225 kg per pair – enough for a work surface, not just a folding tray.
- Release lever – one hand, and the legs swing back under the top.
- 16 screws included – everything needed to mount both brackets.
The part that decides whether a folding table is any good.

Mount both brackets the same distance in from the edge and check they open square before driving the final screws — a bracket a few millimetres out puts the whole table on a twist. The load rating assumes a solid top and legs of a matching gauge; a bracket is only as strong as what it is screwed into. Good for folding tables, workbenches, bed frames and camper conversions.
