Cordless Bobbin Lamp – Eau de Nil Lacquer Accent for Shelves and Bookcases

Cordless bobbin lamp – a soft green light between your books

Shelves and bookcases are where a plug-in lamp usually loses: the cord has nowhere to go. This rechargeable bobbin lamp needs no outlet, so it can sit between books, plants and frames. The pale Eau de Nil green blends in by day and glows quietly at night.

Why choose this shelf lamp?

It's compact enough for a standard shelf and shaped like an old thread spool, which suits a row of books. Three brightness levels let you keep it as a low accent or turn it up to find a title.

• Fits a shelf: 30 cm tall with an 11 cm base, so it stands on most bookcase shelves
• Hidden power: no visible cable running down the side of the bookcase
• Gentle accent light: around 24 hours on low, enough for many evenings of background light
• Spool-shaped body: the turned bobbin profile echoes the spines and objects around it
• Glossy lacquer: ten coats give the pale green a smooth, reflective surface

A lit shelf makes the whole wall feel finished, even with nothing else switched on.

Place it at the end of a row of books or next to a plant to create a small pocket of light. When you want a brighter reading lamp for a moment, tap the top and take it to the chair. Charge it through the USB-C port at the base about once every few evenings, depending on the setting.
